Adam & Ziege
Artists Biography
It all began 1990 in a shed near Berlin, which served as a makeshift design-studio, set up by Thomas Adam and Stephan Ziege. Both were professional designers when they founded their "First Porcelain Manufacture of Mark Brandenburg". Thomas Adam studied at the University of Art and Design "Burg Giebichenstein" in Halle, and Stephan Ziege at the Academy of Art "Weissensee" in Berlin, Germany.
Early in their careers, they both worked for well-known companies such as Meissen, but they soon made a name for themselves with their witty salt & pepper shakers and characterised table accessories. Adam & Ziege thoroughly know their profession from A - Z! Since 2004, they have worked as designers
for Goebel.
